Thanks for visiting my "BLOG". I hope to share my fishing adventures with you and my latest business adventure as well. 2005 has been more of a business year instead of fishing. Going in to land development has been a real education. Hopefully 2006 will be balanced a little more with business and pleasure on the ocean. Feel free to make comments and ask questions. BRUNSWICK LANDING IN HOLDEN BEACH. 3 NEW HOMES AVAILABLE IN SPRING 2006
My partner and I, Doug Weaver of D & S Developers, LLC are developing "BRUNSWICK LANDING" in Holden Beach, NC. This will be a cozy 22 lot, wooded subbdivision. Opening phase begins in Spring 2006. The property is located on Old Ferry Rd in Holden Beach, NC. It's so close to the Intracoastal Waterway, you can easily stroll down to the waterway. Our goal is to build 3 custom homes on pilings in 2006. This picture you are looking at was taken from the Holden Beach Bridge. It's not all 100% fun with us. Only about 98%. We painted the beach house in March 2005 at Oak Island. Observe this photo of Doug working. Photo's of him doing physical labor are rare.

I told Jake that by practicing his paint stroke, he would become a better fisherman. Then I told him if he didn't paint he couldn't eat. Notice the fishing rods in the forefront.

JULY 2005 AT FRYING PAN TOWER
Fishing in July 2005 with Rob Ferris aboard his 32' Seacraft "Mad Mouse". Jake fought this dolphin (called Mahi-Mahi in a restaurant) for about 15 minutes before Rob gaffed him aboard.

TO EVERYBODY NOT FROM THE CAROLINA'S. THIS IS WHAT WE USE FOR BAIT OFF THE NC COAST.
Jake with his Amberjack. We estimate this fish was 50-60 lbs. Jake fought the fish for 35 minutes on 20lb test line. After this picture we released him to be caught another day.
